Eagle Badgers 4-H Club 2009-2010 Record Book
Every Member is required in the Eagle Badger 4-H Club to submit a Record book at the October Meeting.
Your record book can be as elaborate or as simple as you would like.
It must contain the following items
- Cover Page
- Introduction Page about you
- Table of Contents
- My 4-H Activity Program Sheet
- 4-H Activities
- Demonstrations
- Individaul Projects
- Record Book Cover
- Page Numbers
Forms needed to complete your record book
(Forms can also be found on the ext. office website)
- Parts of the Record Book
- 4-H Project Plan and Evaluation Form (you need one of these for each project you signed up for)
- 4-H Animal Project Financial Form (you need one of these for each Animal project you signed up for)
- 4-H Non-Animal Project Financial Form (you need one of these for each non-Animal project you signed up for)
- 4-H Dairy Animal Project Financial Form (you need one of these for each Dairy Animal project you signed up for)
- 4-H Activity Program Check List Form
Optional Items You May Add to Your Record Book
- Photos of all the different events that you have attended (demonstration, fair projects, activities)
- If you don't have photos of the different events then you can use your own drawings or clip art
- News Clippings of the Eagle Badger Meeting Minutes from the Progressive
- Any Award Certificates that you have received this year in 4-H
- Ribbons from the fair - but they must me flattened and taped
- Fair Entry Tags only if the judge wrote on them
Tips For your Record Book
- Pen or pencil is acceptable but try to be consistent throughout the book
- Computers can be sued to do the record book
- Make Sure it is the Member's work and not the Parent's work
- Neatness counts
- Use of Plastic Sheets is allowed
- Tie or place your record book in a binder. Pages must be able to be viewed and turned easily.
- Record all your previous years information in your record book where applicable
- Use one line per year for reporting activity information
- A new record book cover is provided to you each year. You can choose to use the previous year or a new one every year. Make sure all the information is current.
- Parent's Comments must be included!!!
All record books are judged and a select amount of them are chosen to receive an Outstanding Record Book Award at the Richland County 4-H Banquet.
